Lyrics
NO REGRETS ©2026 F. Mayes, T. Strickland
She starts her day with brulee’ and a coffee, in a local café
Favorite table with a view of the harbor, her thoughts begin to stray
Memories of a life well lived, no remorse in her mind
She leaves a tip and a quick conversation. Always keeping it light.
Just sailing away. Is the plan for the day.
Sunrise to sunset. She has NO REGRETS.
Sometimes she goes out for the nightlife. Everyone knows her name.
The waiter knows what drink she will order. It’s always the same.
The empty seat at the table reminds her. Life can turn on a dime.
Reminiscing is a useless emotion. She won’t waste her time.
She’s sailing away. That’s the plan for the day.
With the wind in her sails. There’s no way she can fail.
When the harbor’s in sight. She’ll drop anchor tonight.
Sunrise to sunset. She has NO REGRETS.
He left her on a warm summer evening, she knows he’s not coming back
With no family or friends to lean on, no need to dress in black
He left her with much more than a memory. Well off and no debt.
And the boat that was their prized possession, they called it NO REGRETS.
She’s sailing away. That’s the plan for the day.
With the wind in her sails. There’s no way she can fail.
When the harbor’s in sight. She’ll drop anchor tonight.
Sunrise to sunset. She has NO REGRETS.
NO REGRETS…..NO REGRETS…..NO REGRETS…..
